So I picked up a maverick a few months ago. Actually traded a 92 jeep cherokee straight up for it, I was pretty stoked. It is a 1973 grabber with a 302. I think someone did quite a bit of work to it at some point, but it has been let go the last couple years. Paint is bad and has some dents, the guy I got it from lost the hood as he was driving down the road. It was a grabber hood and he said he just left it were it landed on the side of the road, so I will be getting another one soon. The motor has a huge intake on it, an Offenhauser 360 highrise. Not sure what all is in the motor, or why the big intake. It runs good, but hesitates on hard accelerations, kinda bogs down for a second. But any how I'm pumped to have a maverick and am really enjoying the site.
