    Freakin scarey!!!!!!!!! Proof that things happen very quickly and safety is a must. Looks as if this mav was certainly caged. thankgod. Gotta admit, it does have timex qualities.

    Ok why can't I play this? Media player can't find the codec on either machine I've tried it on.

    I can't get it to play on RealPlayer or Windows Media Player. I have saved it to disk, opened in different windows, every dadgum thing and it will not work.:(

    I feel out of place, usually I cant open or view anything, worked good for me. I viewed it on quicktime if that helps.

    Try Quicktime, VLC or Media Player 9 ....I use Quicktime as well ...

    Got it to play on Quicktime, but not Media Player 9. Go figure.:confused:

    I could only play it with quick time as well. I converted the video and it now works in media player. http://maverick.to/sigs/maverick.avi

    Im sure that the camera man got a bit of a scare! Why would the car swerve like that?

    I would have to agree that the shorts are history. But, I am a bit glad to see the good effects of a rollcage. I just didn't know the damage they are able to withstand. Now I am a believer. Still hate to see anyone's stuff get torn up. Hope nobody was hurt. Preston

    My buddies cousin races NHRA Supergas, a few weeks ago, he grenaded his motor, and it caused him to hit the wall at 110mph. Had the car back together and a new motor, back to the track 6 weeks later. That was the first wreck of a fairly decent carreer in drag racing for him

    I still can't get it to play. I have tried everything. I tried the second link and it only downloads to 2% and then it no longer responds. To top it off my computer it is 2 weeks old so it can't be that. Well I am giving up for now.

    That is one awesome & wild video. Goes to show why they have the rules they have. Looks like the Maverick faired pretty good. Didn't see much damage. Roll cages do work.
