Does anyone know how much space there is between the spring perches on the rear axle? Crawled underneath the car to try and check, but my measuring stick only went to about 30 inches :p I got some sloppy measures, so I'm not sure how correct they came out: Inside to inside 106cm(about 42 inches), center to center 112cm(about 44 inches), outside to outside 118cm(46.5 inches).
Did these get way off, or are they pretty close? :p

i guess that's pretty close. should be the same on many fords.
iirc it's in the 43" range (center to center)

So it's probably closer to 43 inches then? I found out that the early mustang is 43", and that's probably exactly the same as on a Mav or Comet?

all leaf spring ford cars from the late 50s to the end of the 70s have the same leaf spring spacing.

I know the 66-67 Fairlane were spread out about an inch farther. But you can make it fit.
