Paxton Supercharger on a Maverick

    Has anyone ever come across a Maverick/Comet with a Paxton Novi-1200 Carbureted Supercharger system installed on it? I am considering this setup for the SBF I am building for my 70 Maverick, but I'm wondering about height and hood clearance. It doesn't look like the carb enclosure is much taller than a standard air cleaner, but I don't have any real data to back that up.

    If I could see some pictures of a Maverick with one installed, it would answer a lot of questions for me.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Tony Hahn in Somerset, Ky. has that set up on his car. It is sweet, I got a ride in it a couple weeks ago. Unreal by the seat-O-pants meter. He has a toploader behind it. Here is a pic from the National Gathering, even with the 4" front wheels he flogged it through the Autocross event. I will try to get a pic of the motor, maybe some one can beat to it.

    Thanks for all of the pictures guys. Now that I've seen it in a Maverick, I really want to go forward with using it on my car. Hopefully I can get some contact info for Tony so I can pick his brain on the install.
