71 Merc Comet - Looking to restore it.

    Hello all,

    I've been reading these forums a lot lately, since getting a 71 Comet from my Dad. Took 30+ years since I first asked for it for him to give it up, and he finally gave it to me this year.

    I am looking to get it restored now. I live in Central NJ, Anyone have any recommendations for a good restorer in NJ?

    Blue 71 Comet, with 302 and a 3 speed. The only non-original parts are the dual exhaust and the new radiator & heater core.... Spend the last 20 years in a barn....

    Tia, What exactly does the car need? It looks fine in the picture. Are you currently driving it? Planning on taking it to any local shows?
