Has anyone had any dealing with Phoenix Engine Designs? I've seen a few of their engines on Ebay. The look pretty good and sound great. Here is a video of a NICE 302:

They never show a dyno sheet or display so how do we know it made 375 hp? Even that can be manipulated. I'd like to see a parts list, curious about what heads and cam. Edelbrock carb...

All of the current engines they have available are on their website. And they state all the parts list on them.

Ok, they list a Speed Pro cam (?) with no specs, the engine in the picture has a Chinese Proffesional Products intake and some no-name heads. The description of the heads cracks me up:

"Your choice of Rocky Iron Aluminum heads (202 valve), or
SS PRO Street Aluminum heads ~ ~
both have the new twist wedge aluminum heads that do WORK!
Look at the BIG EXHAUST PORTS!"

    LOL
Maybe it's an ok deal, I'm just a little skeptical of their claims.

This one's nice too, and I was thinking about dealing with them (expensive though):

    Has anyone used these guys?

Sorry, I don't mean to hijack your thread, I was just trying to compare and contrast opinions on performance crate engines, while on the subject.

    RHS Heads
    Trick Flow Cam
Quick Fuel SS 650 Carburetor (instead of the Holley ?)

They list all the components on their website:

Oh, no. You're fine. That's the reason I started this post in the first place. To compare and see what all is out there. Thanks for the new link. They seem to be a bit more pricey though.

What's the link to the SBF site? Google search didn't bring up much.

I live in phoenix and to be honest i wouldnt buy anything From Phoeinix ...Lots of scab Labor here and Alot of people and businesses here just want your money... I was Raised in Phoenix and have been burned time and time again , in just about every Field Including Housing, Automotive, ect... I now order Engines From California and order Parts ect from Outa state.... Phoenix has a bad reputation for Caring for the Consumer.

AFter checking the web site it makes me nervous. Looks and reads like a bunch of low end Chinese parts. I would have a real concern about longevity. An engine isnt something you want to have to remove and send back for warranty work.
Even some of the grammar in the Phoenix ads reminds me of those off shore ebay ads.

I would suggest fordstrokers.com or coasthigh.com if you want good mail order service with a warranty.

I have found that SBFtech.com will keep you reading for a while on any aspect or question you have about our engines. They have a lot of knowledgeable people (engine builders and tuners) on this website.

The guy that runs SBFtech is the owner of Fordstrokers. I hope SBFtech is better than it used to be. I quit going there. When Jay Allen was there Lord help you if you asked a "dumb" question or disagreed with him or any of his groupies. They would pound you unmercifully. LOL, guys on other forums would refer to them as "Jay and his ball washers".
