Lock popped out of a retainer.....didn't swallow the valve, but close. On the way to repairs.

took it for a ride, then it started to rain furiously, and surprise! it started to leak around the windshield! i was really angry then all the windows started to dim to the point where i literally couldn't see beyond the steering wheel, for some reason the defrost didn't work, at this point i was really pissed off, but more than that i was really scared cause i didn't see the cars around me, fortunately the rain didn't last long. :whew:

Backed into a pole, as if the Comet's body isn't crappy enough already.

My slav ecylinder extention keeps breaking on me. was pouring gas out of hte throttle body two days ago. yesterday it was shooting gas out of the wrong side of an injector. today had an electrical fire somewhere though nothing had any signs of being burned.. though my car wouldn't start until i reset the computer and removed a suspect fusible link. HOPEFULLY i'll be able to make it to the exhaust shop for my apt tomrrow to get my o2's put in so it don't run so rich. also broke my underdash tray three days ago. For some reason no matter what length hose or how i bend it my lower rad hose folds in half. but still gets enough flow to not notice any cooling issues... oh and fuel pump switch and fan switch both went out... I'm giving ya the short list.

    h2o,

If your defrost is fogging your windshield, I would bet that your heater core is leaking. If there is a greasy film on the windshield, I would suspect anti-freeze.

The "increased torque" I'm wielding allowed me to get only 1/2 way down the track before things hit the fan.

Boom! Tranny is 100% dead (I can hear the metal bouncing around inside), now every gear is neutral.

Rev limiter saved the engine though.

ohh yeeea. one day my mom was taking me to school in my mav and a guy pulled out infront of us so she hit the brakes and since the rear brake diaphrams were already busted and leaking fluid thus making the rear brakes wet, the car yanked to the right and we did a 180 into a ditch and hit a tree. stupidly i wasnt wearing my seatbelt but i didnt have a scrach. my mom hit her head on the door and broke her wrist because the steering wheel yanked her arm almost off. BUT! we pulled it out of the ditch and drove it home. gosh they dont make cars like they used to lol. but a couple weeks later it started to have electric problems and now we cant get it to start properly, but hey, thts the price u pay for older cars. gotta love them though
