According to the owner of Original Auto Interiors that sells NOS upholstery, he claimed that the maroon and black plaid pattern was a one year design offered in 70 only. I don't know if this is true, but that was what his manuals indicated.

I don't know if you have ever used the POR-15 products or not, but it works great for sealing pinholes in gas tanks. I sealed the gas tank in my '75 over a year ago, and NO leaks. My tank had 13 pinholes, a couple were a little bigger than pinholes.

Note: I didn't even use the gas tank sealer kit. I just thouroghly cleaned the inside of the tank, after it had dryed, then coated the inside and outside of the tank with POR-15 semi-gloss black, although I'm sure the color doesn't matter. That's just what I had at the time.

That white Maverick looks like an awesome car. (y) I love plaid interior in any vehicle. :thumbs2:

Yes...one year only. I know Joe Bayura has the same interior in his car. This car I parted out had it (what was left of it).

I sold Joe a lot of the maroon parts out of this car.

His interior is identical to that. It has hubcaps that came with it but I have been trying to talk him into some of the dog dish caps with trim rings. I LOVE that look.

When we get it cleaned up I will post up some more pics.
