Wont start...

    lol, nope pulled complete motor and trans from my 74 and put it in my 71 the only thing I took off was the carb...

    Well I decided to just buy a new msd street fire box $140 bucks...Hooked it all up and would you believe NO SPARK :( I checked for voltage 12.4 volts tried another coil still dead... called msd and they said unit is bad out of the box... (Figures...lol) Autozone ordered a new one for me....

    I picked up my 12 volts from the accessory lug on the fuse box.. The one you would have your rear defroster hooked to if your car was equipped..(12 volts with key on)

    I think that is the problem you need to make sure you still have 12v there with the key to the start position not just the run position.

    Ya I think I should check that to... msd says as long as it doesn't drop below 10 volts it will be fine...
