I've been researching and reading up a bit on the front disc conversion kits from Wilwood, SSBC and discbrakeswap.com and keep seeing limitations based on diameter of the rim but not the width.

I've got a set of Magnum 500 rims (14"x5.5" front and 14"x6" rear) that I'm thinking about using on the car, but do not want to go through the hassle of restoration if they will not fit any of the disc brake conversions.

So going from there can anyone tell me if any of the discbrakeswap.com setups will work with a 14" x 5.5" Magnum 500 rim? (none of the other suppliers seem to support 14" and discbrakeswap does not specify max and min wheel rim width)

Yes....discbrakeswap.com stuff will work with those wheels, since it is based on the Ford parts used on a Maverick.

do not complicate both to Wilwood Hold your discs front of a Ford Mustang and also put the rear axle of this Mustang.
    Just a mustang GT 5.0H0 of 95-98.
This will enter your magnum wheels,
Now also mentioned it would be nice if you want to put, bring a large engine modified?

Well........................ I don't really know for sure what is trying to be said here, but if its that the 14" wheels will fit over the disk brakes from a 95-98 Mustang GT the answer to that is>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can you get a set of stock disk brakes from someone here on the site ? that would be the best answer and probably the least expensive way to go. Most of the time you can find a donor car for the price of the swap kits and have parts left over to use at a later date.

Thank you Craig, that's the answer I was looking for. Again I am more concerned with the width of the rim being an issue; as no min rim width is provided.
