Another Awesome Car Show Experience

I'll be taking the family down to see the mouse in 2010 so I'll be looking forward to those car shows at Old Town again

 

Old Town is great! Our statewide Cougar club was the featured club back on 11/7. We had nearly 30 Cougars there. Nothing like driving in the dark with just the parking lights on through a wall of people on both sides of the street cheering, waving, and snapping pictures. Definately a kodak moment!! When are you coming down?

Should be sometime in the middle of September. Last time down we stayed at the Quality Inn Suites 2 doors down from Old Town. We spent quite a few evenings at Old Town, after the parks closed.

The last time we were in Florida was in 2002 and at that time my Maverick had already been sitting for a lot of years. I had completely lost interest in it. At one of the Old Town shows was a black on black small bumper Maverick. I kept going back to it over and over and must have taken a dozen or so photos.

I couldn't wait to get back home and do something with my own Maverick. That was when I finally decided to build my garage and get back to work on it.
