WTF, that's just wrong! Glad your OK. Guess I need to get me a locking nut when I get my new rims, though I doubt anyone will want 4bolt rims all that bad.

we have a mustang that attracts a lot of attention and it has 4 bolt rims.

lock nuts are sooo cheap compared to fenders, wheels, steering components, break parts, paint and chiropractor appointments. I would buy some lock nuts.

Glad you didnt get hurt but man I can only imagine. I think you did quite well in your video. Got your thoughts across without being as low and ignorant as the moron that left you with one nut. Well said fellow Canuck.
I found my front valve core lose on the Mav a few weeks back. Noticed the cap missing when I wiped the wheels off. I truly pity the little so and so if myself or the neighbors catch them.
The last bunch that tried to enter a house on this street, one of them was found duct taped to the light post in the wee hours of the morning. Police were really upset over that one. We all knew which neighbors did it but the kid refused to point them out. Not sure why?? LOL.

It's terrible that someone would do this to your car.

Thankfully you and your family members were not in a serious accident over this.

Glad you are OK and nothing worse happened. You conducted yourself well in the vid. :thumbs2:

What comes around, goes around ... the weinie that did this will get his.

Loved the bit about duct-taping the kid to a lightpost ... probably far worse than what would have happened to him in a juvie court ... slap on the wrist ... stocks, pilleries, and public humiliation ... much more effective!... he becomes much more well-known in the neighborhood to boot .... Bet he never breaks into another house.

One night when I was out in my 71 Torino (30 years ago), some moron tried to steal my wheels ... (Cragar knock-offs). Got three lugs loose on one front wheel before getting to the lock lug, and then gave up. It was a nice night, and that little voice in my head said to cruise it easy and enjoy the weather. Don't think I did over 40 mph for roughly 15 miles ... and that was very out-of-character for me at the time.

The next day, took it up to about 60 and that must have been when the wheel bent. I get out and look at it, and three lugs were half-off, backed out about a quarter inch. My angels were watching out for me that night.

I'm pretty sure i had a neighbor loosen my lugs a couple weeks back, had my back wheel come of at 60mph and had my family in the car.

needless to say my mav sports 20 spline drive lugnuts now!

May not have been the brightest thing to do but those kids never came back to loot our street. It was just after we had a huge Gas explosion on the street that took out 4 homes. Emotions were running high so these kids picked a bad time to become thieves. They were watched and scared off a few times then got caught trying to enter a basement. We gave up on the Police since it took forever for them to show up. Boy were they mad cause we didnt call 911 and took it upon ourselves. See in Canada your not suppose to defend your home or property. Your suppose to run away and call 911.
Except in the prairie provinces. They kind of have their own rules. (y)

I hope someone catches the thieves who loosened the wheel.:yup:

I don't drive my car every day as regular transportation. They attract to much attention. There are many jealous people out there and times are hard for many. A lot of people tell me that its "just a car" but I don't look at it that way. Most of them guys do not own a speciality car and haven't spent money rebuilding one. It seams that things always happen for a reason, maybe to learn and maybe to forgive. Thank God you and your family did not get hert and the damage was not worse. I had a '76 Elete back in the day. Someone keyed the left side form the front to the back. Why, it made me sick. This is what caused me to think differently then most people.
