Hey everyone ok so thanx to all of you I got the stalling problem fixed on my newly acquired 66 mustang straight 6. Now I have another problem when I hit the brakes the pedals goes all the way to the ground and car goes to the left. And takes long time to stop. I have to pump it to help alittle but it doesnt help alot. I tried bleeding the master cylinder by loosening the brake line and having someone depress the brake pedal but its still the same. Any ideas of what I can do and how I can fix it?

Did you bleed the wheel cylinders and adjust the brake shoes?

Bad master cylinder or a ton of air in the lines, my dad's '92 had this problem, and master cylinder design hasn't changed too much since the '60's... your pulling problem sounds like the adjustment star nut in the drum brakes needs to be adjusted too. I would strongly recommend upgrading to front discs when/if you have time.

Are you sure there is sufficient flud in the mc? Brake inings can be worn or wheel cylinders leaking.Any evidence of fluid running down the inside of the tires indicating a leaky wheel cylinder? Front drums are the worst to get out of adjustment and pull to one side or the other.

Leaking r/s wheel cylinder....Pull the drum off and peal back the rubber on the cylinder and see if it's wet
