    I just seen a Maverick that the guy said was a 71 maverick Grabber with a 200 inline 6. I thought maverick grabbers were 302's only? Can someone clarify that for me? If thats the case My car could be a grabber.

    They made more Grabbers with a 6 than they did with a V8

    1- will be the model year 1971
    X- will be the assembly plant , X for St.Thomas, K for Kansas, F for Dearborn,
    93-will be Grabber
    F- Will be the engine designation, F for V8, I don't know the sixes
    0-Last six numbers will be the sequential serial number.

    Great thank you guys!! Hopefully I have a grabber, I doubt I do, but it would be nice. Im not sure if grabbers have the side rail thing thats on both sides of the car. Mine had that on both sides, but I took them off and welded the holes. I will let you guys know what I find out tonight. Only $1,000 left until im up and driving her again.:yahoo:
