Dumped the POS Holley 570 Avenger, and got a Quick Fuel FV580. All carb problems now solved, and the carb looks killer. I'll get some pics up later. Just glad this mess is solved.

What type of blaster did you buy? I have a pressure pot and I figured out how to make it work without clogging up every time by using a radiator hose clamp. If you read the instructions it say to close the feed valve under the pot before releasing the dead-man handle and squeeze the handle before opening the feed valve. What it doesn’t say is this isn’t natural thing to do when you have the ‘on/off’ in your hand. The hose clamp makes you close the valve to stop the media flow.

Ok, finally figured out how to post some photos in my gallery. Let me know what you think. It's very complete, needs a little effort!

I bought this one from Eastwood: http://www.eastwood.com/eastwood-soda-blaster.html

I just received it and haven't even removed it from the box yet. I hope that it holds up to the positive reviews that it received. I'll post before/after pics when I can.

Went to the Texas Mini Meet and 924 Mav's car show WITHOUT my maverick... :(

Waiting for the weather to cool down so I can drive it to get it inspected. Too damned hot to do it in July when it is due, so waiting til November so it will be due in the winter every year.

WOW! Bucket seats and a 3 speed!! Very Nice!! It's a twin to mine on the outside, I have bench seat.:thumbs2:

On a side note, I pulled apart my Explorer motor..no ridge on the cylinders, and very clean inside, I'm going to plasti-gauge the bearings and see where it's at. I may just send the heads out, and leave the bottom end alone.
