Mines drivable (it's my daily driver actually) but with alot of things still needed to be done... from the realitively cheap just takes abit of time like pulling out my ac/heater box and build one from the one in the car and the one I got lying in my garage and re-install, putting that little washer next to my brake pedal so it doesn't rattle, shelby drop, converting to a floor mounted e-brake, etc to the not so cheap like efi, a newer 5.0 roller motor, rebuilding my t5 (could use some new syncros), new spring perches on the rear end to center the axle housing, new rims (even cheap ones aren't so cheap), new carpet...

even the things I can afford to do thanks to my income taxes my condition is making it to where I can't do it without ALOT of pain for a very long time...

    under construction

I sold all the extra mavericks and parts I had awhile back and have put my time in to just one, my 71 grabber. I've been collecting parts for this project and finally this month it will go to the body shop. She looks like a model kit in life size :). Then when she gets back the fun will begin :yahoo:. I have talked on here before about getting it done but you all know how life can slow things down some times. I can't wait, but in reality it may take another year to complete. But at least this time I will be putting it back together not tearing it apart :thumbs2:. Yes I will get some pic's on here of her progress.

Nope, happens to me too! Every morning as I'm half asleep and showering or as I'm drifting to sleep at night, I think "did I tighten that? or what did I do with the hardware for that? or I forgot to order the part I've needed for that" ...you get the picture.

    Maybe I'm just looney...:banghead:

Actually just got my car registered last week. Now is my daily driver, got it when i was 15 and havnt really had a chance to drive her because of motor problems. Its running great, has more power than any vehicle i have ever driven. since i have it on the road.. now its time to get all the other stuff out of the way. like suspension, body, floor boards, and then hopefully paint. We'll see how that turns out but couldnt be done with helpful friendly people like i have met on here! Thanks and thumbs up to everyone in this commitee!

The more i think of it, the more i realize it's never going to finished. not because of the work put on it, but for my constant evolution of preferences and thinking, so it may see many phases of near completion, but as my tastes change so will the car.:bump:

Good reliable driver! I'm going to have to get some body work done, but she passes the 10 foot looks test for now! :)

    Does, "Haven't started yet," count?

Being overseas certainly serves as a hinderance to progress...
