They're both the same video, wish the camera had been mounted about a foot higher so's you could see the road...

As much as i love the 2JZ and the Maverick, im not to keen on combining them. there both great but i just like to see the country the motor was built in mounted to a car from said country

The mav is gone but i'm still here!

C'mon even Ford uses other country engines in their cars! Heck actually other manufacture's engines! ;)

I like it way more than the dime a dozen 302 builds, although some of the exterior styling are kinda tacky on that car.

They would have only ruined the car if they dropped a SBC/BBC in there :yikes:

me personally i like the fact that people are being more creative with their rides and stepping away from the cookie cutter. tuners put american muscle in their cars, my buddy has a little orange toyota truck with a carbed SBC in it.

Nah it might be ok if it was an RBT 34 engine... the 2JZ is on par with the SBC/BBC as far as I am concerned... heck I would rather even see a slant six in there then the 2JZ..

One thing that I noticed in the first video is that the guy driving either doesn't know how to shift, or that was a lousy transmission. there was at least once that he was trying to up shift from 2nd to 3rd and couldn't get it in gear and then had dificulty geting it back in 2nd. Interesting engine choice also. It wouldn't be my first option. To each there own.

if that would have been the case with the RBT/RBTT i would have been a little more accepted to it, but yes a slant six with a hyper pak and clifford header would be cool :drive:

I would have liked to see them use a carbed ford inline 4 wth a turbo, there is a brazilian car in the gallery like that i think.
