i agree but they are like $300-$400 each.the front fenders were smashed on the top and sides and they didnt have the headlight buckets in them or trim so we got some from a guy on here for $140 for the pair.its pretty funny how i only needed to cut them and take a small pie out of them to fit.the center piece i took out was only an inch at the bottom and an inch and 5/8 at the top.
I see the repops on ebay for less than $200 per side. There is a place in Ohio (less than an hour from my house) that has them for that price.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Maverick-Co...Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item5644734e22 Nevermind Craig i found it! Greenville, Ohio.
I called them this morning about buying and picking up parts in Greenville and they returned my call this afternoon saying i could. I didn't ask if the price was the same or not but they seem to have good prices on quarters. The guy i spoke with (don't remember his name) says they have sold several quarters. Pretty popular!!!!!
thats still over $400.00.yesterday i got the driverside rear part of the quarter and the rocker.yeah it took me 5 hours but since i dont have any work right now it gives me something to do.If i planed on makeing a perfect show car or it was some one-of-akind expensive car i would deff.buy new ones.
Looks like you just did the welding on that quarter BELOW the body line? (I guess when you said you were going to use the front fender for a repair panel....I assumed you were replacing the entire quarter panel.)
i was going to use the whole part but i figured it would be easier to just do below the lip.also the metal was good above the lip so why replace it?
