It's good to know there is someone out there still installing classic windshields, I only wish there was one in my town... None of the glass company's here would install one for me, and would not sell it to me either... I ended up buying a really good used one from Shinysideup...

Did he say why he had to heat it up? I have never seen or heard of that before.

How or what method did he use to heat the sealer tube? That's a nice windshield! I need a new one cuz mine has a lot of tiny pits, they are only really noticable certain times of the day when the sun hits it at different angles. Who makes that windsheild?

pulled the pass side fender and all the suspension (spring, shock, upper and lower control arms, along with the spring perch). has any one had any luck fixing the lower control arm bolt area. "c-channel and eggs" are looking way out of shape. HELP:cry:

Took it for a dyno tune. 273 RWHP at 4850 RPM and 317 ft lbs of torque at 4300 RPM. Still has some hesitation when adding throttle. 50 cc accelerator pump is on order. Air/fuel ratio looked real good through the pull.

273 RWHP was right in the middle of the 250-300 I expected.:yup:

Installed the Pertronix point replacement. Seemed to help smooth the old 200 out somewhat.

I replaced my clear quarter glass with tinted glass. But first I swapped the chrome off my window to replaced the scratched and dented chrome on the tinted window.
