X3 - but be preparred for possible mess. I always have a rag in one hand and the tube in the other, as there is always a thread that follows away from the bead of sealer when you pull the tube away. I let the cloth "grab" the thread so it doesn't fall back onto the car paint.
i used yellow and it looks a little stupid due to not knowing there was black...so use black and it works amazing.
Well I have a tube of the yellow I think, but I really don't want to use it, will go get black in the morning, and thanks Eric for the tip on the rag in hand! thanks to all for steering me in the right direction!
Yep, I really don't even know why they make the yellow. How many yellow weatherstrips have you ever seen? The black works great!
trash it...it's nasty stuff... it's as bad as STP oil treatment...I had a can of that bust in the trunk of one of my cars. it took 5 gallons of gas and a bundle of shop rags to clean it up...
Keep the yellow for gaskets (waterpump, valvecover, timingcovers ect.) it works great to hold them in place while installing. I use it all the time. 3M is the best!
