:Welcome:from a fellow 70 owner in Northeast Pennsylvania

If you bought a new 50 oz balancer to replace the old 50 oz balancer that was on the engine, I'm wondering if it was the right one to begin with.

    Flywheel?

What about the flywheel? Does it have the correct balance factor for the engine your using?

I was wondering if he had a chance to hear this engine running while it was still in the 90 Mustang? If it was smooth then, maybe something he changed before the engine was started in the Maverick as in maybe a different weighted flywheel or balancer :yup:

hows the trans mounted? is it at the correct angle so it dosnt have torque on the imput shaft. And of course im asuming that the hermonic balencer matchs the fly wheel weight.

Shaking under load? How does the engine idle? Checked the firing order?

Just to clarify, did the 302/T5 both come out of the Mustang, or did you hook up a T5 to an older 302. If so, it could be a flywheel imbalance issue.

to clear things up the engine is from a 73 grabber but the tranny and everything like the flywheel, clutch, etc. was from a 90 mustang srry about that.... and the transmission? what angle would dat be?
