My wife insisted I buy her an embroidery machine for Christmas. So we agreed if she got it then she had to embroidery Mav stuff. I played around in paint for a while today to make an emblem and figured id share it. We have to get a program to write the files for the machine so she hasnt actually made anything yet. When we do I will scan a factory emblem too.
Been there and done that, sold a few patches to some members and gave some away. Software is expensive but if you have a specific design that you want you can send to a company and they will digitize it for you but even that is fairly expensive. But I see a lot of things that I would like her to do, sort of a reverse honey do list Your wife will love the machine though
a place here in town charged me $65 to digitize the Maverick emblem. she put it in her files under my name. that way no one could get one made without my OK. here are a couple of black back, yellow front jackets she did for me. you will have a blast with that machine...
Brining back one from the past just to show you what can be done, skies the limit with these machines
Wow guys!!!! Im impressed! A sent a copy of my emblem to a mav buddie, he photoshopped it to enlarge it and cleaned up the edges real nice. Ill post some pics of any updates
I have found Ford Maverick patches on Ebay and had matching ones with my name and Anna's made, then I sewed them onto Dickie's work shirts. We wear them to car shows.
I have all of the clothing made to sell here at work (Honda). One day I scanned the cover of my owners manual into the computor and showed it to our tee shirt guy. He took the pic and put it into his embrodering machine and made me all kinds of free stuff. One was a set of dark green zippered hoodies with silver embrodering. The Maverick emblem came out Great! 1971 Maverick on the front with a large Ford logo on the back. I also got several shirts out of the deal. He told me it is permenatly saved in his machine and any thing I want he can make me. Perhaps my socks and underware next! LOL
