What's the best method to remove engine compartment/inner fender paint

    Try power washing. That would take care of a lot of curd than you can repaint it.

    Use off oven cleaner, then pressure wash it.

    Any generic oven cleaner? I have a paint removing wheel as well.

    I like these things:

    But then you need a compressor, and a small angle grinder with the proper chuck that accepts Roloc.
    These also work awesome:

    But in the end, they will cost more than Dollar Store over cleaner, but you don't have to deal with the fumes.

    I have the clean n strip wheel by 3m. Haven't used it. Was going to use that until the oven cleaner was mentioned.
