Really dangerous in a crash. Imagine smashing your face into it at speed.
Have a friend wind up and clobber you in the face with it as hard as he can swing it. If you can take it then put it on the car. Kidding of course but they are very unsafe.

If you get the small dia chain wheel...You can drive while wearing hand cuffs...

Had a friend back in the mid 70's had a chain steering wheel on his '71 Chevelle SS. Got his little finger stuck in one of the links and he ended upside down in the ditch with a broke finger.

Hey that's good information right there! But I want to know what it takes to drive a recent model Charger or Crown Vic in handcuffs... :hmmm:

It's really not that difficult. But the officer is not very happy when you take his squadcar for a joy ride:drive:, specially when you bring it back with big dents:huh:.

No manufacturer ever used one In a production vehicle. So if you're really set out on doing it buy the one Grant makes, it's pretty cheap. Then get their hub adapter, the one for like 69-80 Ford.

It appears the messages conveyed in this thread -- consider making an alternative selection -- mainly in the intrest of safety. Im with the majority. Not to mention -- they look vry much of charcter for these or any car..... IMO
