no vin

    Ok then I have a good 76 Comet for him. It is a Cailf car with a lost title. $975.00. Lots of options and rebuilt I6.

    it still has to have a VIN #, registration, insurance and bill of sale...to get a tag.

    ...i don't understand...the no vin #...it's stamped into the sheetmetal...:huh:

    Yup ..... lost in translation ..... I read this as it was an Oklahoma car .......... :)

    (us old guys get confused without sentences that have punctuation or capitalzation ......... :biglaugh:)

    What I think is odd is the VIN plate comes out with the dash on these cars. It would make it real easy to swap the easily read numbers on a car. Sure there are VIN numbers in other locations but most are very difficult to see and the average Joe wouldn't even know where to look.
