ok three weekends mark your calender. We are meeting at klingers junkyard with a million mavericks. bring tools if you want. Its always fun when I go there. Does that sound ok? A saturday then get lunch and maybe find a show that weekend?

Maybe this one? idk if its three weekends from now but heres one on a saturday at 5

Irwin is about 30 miles east of Pittsburgh. How about Altoona? Famous for train history. We could meet at Horseshoe curve(train tracks make a U turn in the mountains) Might be pretty with the leaves changing?? Just an idea. Russ

WOW!! i thought this was a dead idea, the junkyard trip sounds really cool, i could spend all day in a junk yard :D . irwin is a nice cruise but it would be a haul for the jersy guys... altoona sounds cool, the girlfriend and i have wanted to take that trip to see the horseshoe curve for a while. i hear its really cool in the fall..

i feel bad i threw this idea out here without a plan, but im clueless about the eastern part of PA all i know is hershy and carlisle..

Dude, never feel bad about throwing out an idea. Obviously, you created some interest and that's a good thing.

There's a big parts swap meet and car show (Pittsburgh Parts A Rama II) this weekend in Butler, Pa so this may be something you guys might want to make ,though it's Western Pa, not central. It's both days and the classic car show is on Sunday. It's at the Butler Fairgrounds on Rt 422 in Butler County, off Interstate 79.

If you guys are meeting this weekend coming, I'll still be in Fairfax so have a great time. Get it together, and don't mind Scott...he's just getting old.:p

I will try to keep the idea open. I am not too sure if my car can make the houl. As always I am still trying to get it together to get it home first. Still having power steering issues.

Question for you guys, I need to replace the lines that are leaking but I was looking through the parts catalog and it says with power boost or without I am not sure which I would have. Any clarifications would be great. The sooner I figure this out the sooner I can get this thing home and in my garage. (y)

I should start posting under my own name shouldnt I eh?
Im not sure if my dad can get off of work this weekend or the next thats why i said three weeks from now. His job is like a bunch of psychonazis when it comes to that stuff. I suggested the junk yard cuz Im getting the itch to go back there. However it is pretty far from you pittsburg. Whatever the group wants to do I'm down.

The only thing Im worried about is what the Doll's are gonna say when they see my car. I feel so bad about some things on it. Like a truck kicked up a huge rock on the pa parkway and it took out like the corner of my headlight door and chipped the fender. My friends have leaned on it without thinking. And stupid things like that. Theyre gonna kill me.

Wer'e not gonna kill you Todd. Why do you think we gave you touch up paint? :) Stuff like that just happens. You are nowhere near as bad as the old lady we fixed a car for. She hit a guardrail and squashed her right fender. We fixed it and the following week she hit a parked pickup and wrecked the same fender.:slap: If you ever get THAT bad we will come down there and take your keys away.:D

shut up wes before i whack you upside the head with my cain. hahahahahahahahahahahahaha something no further west /east than harrisburg...that's kinda halfway between you pitssburgh guys and the jersey guys. klingers would be fun... only thing as wes will tell you- not much gold in them thar hills. mavs picked pretty clean. still plenty of glass, some disc brake spindles. i think there is even a floor shift column. a couple 69.5. don't remember what's left on them though. but if you don't want to do that, there has to something in that part of pa that we can do besides another "hood propping party" not too familiar with that part of pa. anybody live near there? ideas?
