Since YOU can't find headers I suppose every single Maverick owner with a 351 Windsor needs to build a stifled, restricted turd like yours. Pathetic.

    Hey guys,

If anyone wants headers made for their 351w I can always take the jig that SPD made of my headers and make them for you, although for a street motor I would probably use 1-5/8 stepped to 1-/3/4. I think I may be able to make them fit without shaving the towers. The original owner raced in B/SM with a stock block 302 and Cleveland heads and he had some nice headers that fit the tight engine bay without the towers being shaved. Ofcourse changing plugs may be an all day deal, but I'd make the headers 4 piece on each side.

So there, now you've found a source for headers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Okay!
Come on now. Enough hostility, enough name calling and enough insults. seriously.
You clearly know your stuff, but that's no reason to make the sort of comments you're making. Thanks for at least keeping the language PG13, but it's time you dialed back the tone a few notches as well.
Answering the same questions time and again can be very tiresome, and knowing about a better answer than the common one can make it tough to be nice about it, but give it a try please.

 <--This is my diplomatic face.

You can't either. Nobody can. If you don't run a MII or AJE front end you either build your own headers, maybe luck out and find a set of long discontinued Crites, (which might as well be building your own) or you run smaller tubes. Until I can do one of the other two options, I've taken the latter.

As for my car being a turd? You know nothing about that. It's purpose built to do one thing - be a kickass daily driver, and it does that well. It breathes just fine in the RPM range where it gets driven and it's strong as an ox. I get in it every morning, sit down in its comfortable and damn good looking interior, fire it up with one turn of the key, crank that AC I built from scratch and either listen to the great sounding engine on my way to work or drown it out with a hell of a good stereo. I have routinely driven this car hundreds of miles at a time without a worry, without even a single tool the trunk. It rides nice, handles well, got power steering, stops on a dime with 4-disc power brakes, and not a bit of anything I've mentioned was original equipment, yet it's put together well enough that most people would think it's just a clean stock engine compartment when I raise the hood. It turns heads wherever it goes. It's a blast to drive, and when I open it up and bang the shifter it can scare the crap out of anyone who sits in it. It does everything I ever intended it to do, how is it a turd?

I've built a good car, dude. Know what else? People like me.
