I just completed a full front suspension and steering rebuild with the Granada disc brake swap. I also converted the power steering to manual with the Rare parts adapter. I am running 235 60 14's on Magnum 500's. Now I'm ready for the alignment. The question is ... what specs should I tell them to align it to? I have come across a few different threads that address this issue, but I come up with several different specs. So I guess what I'm really asking is what specs are you guys using and how does the car handle? Any info will be appreciated Thanks Kevin
You're running 235/60/14s on the front? The old published specs for our cars were for bias tires. I assume you are running radials which throw the old numbers out the window. For mine, after some trial and error, I settled on: Caster = +2.75* Camber = 0* Toe = In 1/16"
Yes, the tires on the front are pretty wide, but I like the way they look. All 4 tires are the same size. I got them from a 1972 Gran Torino. Thanks for the specs Are you coming to the Roundup again this year?
