traction bars/ slappers

    Mine are installed for LOOKS ONLY!! I have no idea if I have them installed for "performance" or not.

    And they LOOKS good :thumbs2:, even if they are too short they will help with wheel hop.

    Here is a link to show you how to build some cal tracs, this will be better than a universal traction bar although not as cheap

    No offense. I don't use them, I have caltracs.

    I was just pointing the guy toward what he was asking for.

    I used universals in the past, no-name autozone ones. They worked better than nothing. Not nearly as good as the caltracs.

    I "modified" mine by cutting the square piece at angles on both sides. It cut a groove into the side of my tire. Kept me from hanging my shirt up on it when I slid under the car, also.
