    73 Grabber,
:HandshakeI just purchased a beautifully restored 1972 Mercury Comet and a 1973 Maverick Grabber project, much of which came in boxes. The Comet will be a great template to see how the Maverick goes back together but I will still have many questions as I move this project along. My first question involves the interior. I see a few websites where I gan buy seat foams and new upholstery or the front buckets but nothing for the rear seat. Does anyone make stuff to do the back or do I have to ask an uphostery shop to match up the rear seats with the front? Thanks in advance!

    :Welcome: from MD!

The rear seats will have to be custom, there are no mass produced covers or foam. The upholstery shop should be able to handle it.

    73 Grabber,
Yes. Bought both cars from Tommy. Great guy! Love the Comet!!! But my heart is with the 73 Grabber. More fun when you can tell folks you did the restoration yourself. Week after next I'm having my detached two car garage expanded to four bays. After that a trip to Harbor Freight to get my blast cabinet and bigger air compressor. Then the parts are going to start flying off the car. Life is good!
