I am helping Dan out....as I know people will contact him asking about these bars (they have in the past whenever it is brought up on this board). Bottom line: Dan doesn't come on here anymore....and Dan doesn't have any interest in making these frame connectors any more. If ANYBODY wants these bars, they will have to find a set that somebody is not using.

No need for name calling.....I am helping out future readers of this post....and I am helping Dan out. (y)

I didn't say that Dan made these, only giving him credit for a nicely made peice for our maverick/comets. I didn't say that anybody should contact him just stating the facts about the bars and who made them, I think I stated that some one would have to find a set that some one else was not going to use.

NO need to act like I don't exist or belittling me.... lets do each other a favor and I won't comment on anything you post and you don't comment on anything I post. If you truely felt you neededd to save Dan trouble you could have just replied with "No need contacting Dan, he isn't making these anymore and has no intrest in doing so".:naughty:

Check out Alston Race Cars Online, they make a set of bolt on subframe connectors that fit perfectly. I installed them on my 72. Nice people to deal with.

I just looked them up $167.00, not bad. I'd never seen a bolt on set for a Maverick. (y)

They are a very nice item and fit perfectly. I have had them on my Maverick for five years and posted pics on here, as well as many others have done. Unless something is posted and given the stamp of approval by one of the "chosen ones", it is ignored.

I just looked on their site and the only one they show is a weld-on for the mustang. If they have the maverick bolt on unit, they don't show it. It might be something I will need to call them about or it is very possible that I am looking in the wrong place. It wouldn't be the first time. Thanks for the info though. I anticipate needing them in the not to distant future, after I get the 302 installed.

Their website is very poor. I have a printed catalog. The part number for the bolt-in round tube Maverick connectors is 102419.

I was able to scrounge up a set of Starnes Bars, so I will not be using the Chassis Engineering ones I already had.

I am willing to sell the CE set if anyone wants them? SOLD them!! Wow, an off handed comment generated a ton of pm's. Thanks guys!

    PM me if interested.....
