I have a chance to pick up a set of magnum 500 rims for 125. Whole set. Do you guys think it's a good idea to pick them up. They are in ok shape and need a new coat of paint.

It's good deal if it includes the trim rings and center caps.

Good deal! New center caps & rings will cost more than that. If the wheel are not bent - it's a good deal.

Correct me if i'm wrong but i always thought Magnums were fully chrome with a center cap,and the regular rally wheels were painted with a ring and cap. Or am i just confused lol.

Magnums were chromed through '73, then they came painted argent with stainless trim rings, which were standard on some cars and optional on others.

Mavericks, as well as Granadas, only came with Styled Steel Wheels. The look like Magnum 500 wheels, but are painted and come with trim rings. Magnums are chrome with no trim ring. I have found most people call the Styled Steel Wheel a Magnum Wheel as well.

For $125, it would be nice if they were chrome. If they are the painted variety...I would want the rings and caps included for that price.

Are they 14"? How wide are they? 6" wide or 7" wide? The 7" wide ones are harder to find.

I see you are in Indiana. If the wheels are not what you want, I have lots of wheels for sale. Magnum 500 wheels as well as Styled steel wheels.

Ok went and picked them up yesterday. They are in surprisingly good shape considering the age. The guy does have another set if anyone is interested I can contact him and set up a time for you to pick them up.

Those are hard to find in chrome 7"ers. Nice job. Mustang guys hoard those.

    Are they 14s or 15s?
