    Hello all,

    I'm new, first post, and I have a 1971 maverick four door with a 200 inch six and auto trans.

    The motor and trans have just been rebuilt, and I'm slowly putting it back together. I've owned the car for several years, and I really like it. I'm retired,welder, and live in Calif. I will be looking for some parts to finish my car, so any help will be appreciated. Looking forward to working with the community.

    I live near Bakersfield about 45 miles south west. The town is Taft, pop. 10,000. It's in the heart of oilfield country. Very hot and dry,but only 90 miles to the coast.

    Hi ya'll... I'm new to the board, I've had this Maverick for a few years now... To tell the truth it was a mess, don't take me wrong, it still is a mess, but am working slowly on it to make it a sleeper....
