I wrote you back why I didnt. The pics you sent were too dark to reproduce in b&w. By time I lighten them enough to see anything, they were too washed out looking. I really would like to put this one in there but nice clear pictures are a must.

Oh that's right. Sorry about that.
Maybe when you do yours you can get some better shots?

I emailed the guy inquiring about buying 3 sets. His total came to $35.90. The breakdown came to $12 for shipping and $9 for insurance. Considering you could ship and insure all 3 for less than $5, thats pretty steep. I dont know why he just dont sell them for $10 and be honest about the shipping and insurance. I hate hidden profit and dishonest people. I wrote him a polite nasty-gram.

That's right...and he shouldn't force anyone to buy insurance if they elect not to also. Anyway, you can insure $100 of product for less than $2.00 if you send U.S. Postal.

That's still cheaper than what I paid for mine. I bought 2 sets at the original price. I should've waited....they are very good quality though. I may order a couple more as backup.

Its not about the quality of the product or even the price. Overall, $12 per kit is very reasonable. Its the hidden profits that piss me off.

I bought two sets. I agree with Mavaholic, the shipping & insurance is ridiculous. It's also fairly confusing and misleading.

I'm just a tad pissed off myself!

Just ordered a set for a spare. I think my speedo may be on the fritz, so if it is, I will be able to fix it to fit in with the rest. Don't like the shipping and ins., but it is still less than I paid a couple years ago for the first set.

I ordered 2 sets and got the same total. The seller explained that he lists them this way to minimize the fees he has to pay e-bay. Ebay charges him based on the selling price. By marking up the shipping and requiring insurance he is making more money and still selling them to us for less than they were previously. It's like he is selling them for $8.00 plus shipping but only paying e-bay based on $4.98.

Don't agree with the business practice but everyone says they are of good quality and there is a need for them.

Well, that certainly makes sense. I guess he cant say that on his auction page.
