Nice work on that frt end. I am wondering abt the removal of a lot of the opening to the radiator area. Im wondering if it will cause some overheating issues in traffic/long idling periods. As far as the sq. holes in the frt, I agree w/ those who say fill them or make them round if ur using them for brake ducting. Other than that Ur lookin real gud...

I'm very impressed at the quality of work your doing. That front spoiler is really cool. As you said it ties in great with the rear spoiler. If you can find the rite looking material for grilles I would definitely use those sqaure holes as brake ducts.

I would love to see the progess on the rear spoiler. I'v mentioned in the past I'd be interested in buying one if your getting copies made. Your cars going to look amazing.

Thanks again for the positive response to my project.

As far as the rear spoiler...... well I am starting to think about making it a "one off" in steel. If I do decide to do that then I would offer this one up for grabs in it's unfinished form. Still very undecided about it?

If you sell it to me now, I can have it painted at the same time my hood is painted. :D

OK, so it's time to get back on this thing. I have now finished all the side projects that I had lined up. The last 32 Ford coupe was delivered a couple weeks ago. I have cleared my schedule, much to the dismay of fellow hot rodders around here. Some guys are cool about it and are happy to see me get onto my project. While a couple are put off that I won't take their car on until next summer. Oh well.

Now with money in hand from these last couple jobs, I can really get to town on the Maverick. I have had the big brown truck rolling up my driveway quite a bit lately. Here is a small list of the items ordered and delivered.

First and foremost, a pair of NOS quarter panels!
New custom outside door handles from The Ring Brothers. See pictures....
A new Fuel Injection ready gas tank from Tanks Inc.
A new flip top gas filler from Alan Johnson Hot Rods. See picture, although it will be all polished and not nickel plated as shown.
The taillight sequencer for the Shelby taillights.
The new arm rests for the interior door panels.
    New custom interior door handles.
    Stainless steel door strikers.
    In tank fuel pump.

So that's it for the last week or so. But there is still more I will be needing in the very near future.

I love that gas cap. Would it work sitting vertical on my tail panel or does it only close and seal sitting on a horizontal surface? :thumbs2:

How are those door handles? They look like the are pretty close to the body, kinda like a E-Type door handle, made for little fingers....I like em!!

The fuel filler has a real nice o-ring to seel it up. I plan on mounting it verticaly on the rear tail panel. I don't see there being any issues at all.

Dave, The door handles are beautiful! I have not taken them out of the package yet, but it looks like there will be sufficiant room for your hand. I will take one out and mount it and take pictures if you need to see one?

    I can wait (barely) :)
It'll be awhile before I start shopping for some. I'm leaning towards the Scott Drake satin ones..

Were the handles custom made for you? Or are they available aftermarket? What was thier intended application?

And what are the Drake handles you're referring to Dave?
