Year model radiator fit question

I just took the radiator out of my 74 mav to have it rodded out, but the repair guy said it leaked like a water sprinkler afterwards. The crap had filled all the holes.

I found a "new" brass radiator on ebay that is guaranteed to fit a 73 mav, but their "does it fit" software says it won't fit a 74.

I thought they would be the same.

BTW, a 250 to 302 swap is in the works. I believe the same radiator was used for both engines.

 

I guess I didn't ask the question well.

Do the 73 and 74 Mavericks use the same radiators?
