The guy said transmission and motor got rebuilt not too long ago..He said it needs a head liner and seat upholstery needs to be done on one seat..no rust at all..and he just got a paint job about 4 years ago but he said paint is cracking in some spots..i wonder why?

Probably the only way to tell is a Marti report. Craig could probably tell, but I know I couldn't.:)
Whatever it is it is definitely not original.

Looks good in pics. I wouldnt have a problem paying that if the body is as good as it looks in pics. I wouldnt worry myself about it being a Grabber or not. Its not original but it looks sharp.

I think its a good deal as long as it runs as good as it looks. I was actually checking this car out on craigslist yesterday.

It looks to be a 302. I dont think it is wide enough to be a 351

If it is a 1970 - the VIN still says 91 on the grabbers. Since the car has been highly modified, being built as a grabber is absolutely meaningless and worthless at this point. It was just a trim option and nothing more.

As for the car, I like it and the price seems right if it is solid and runs great.

    :)

Grabber or not, as long as the body is good that thing is a deal. It's already a v-8 car with the grabber parts. It looks like it has a decent driver paint job, I'd say if everything checks out don't hesitate.

You couldn't build that car for that.

Don't spend money on "hope". Don't buy that car unless you personally lay eyes on it.
