swapping a 91 mustang aod tranny in maverick..mount issue

    i just bolted in the 1991 ford mustang motor in my maverick but dont know how to custom the trans mount to hold the trans up..i have a 302 trans mount from a grabber does anybody have pics or idea how to make it work

    PM 71gold he makes a nice conversion crossmember. Im getting one from him as soon as I install a new front end.

    I would get everything into position 1st. Then install the old brace to see how far back the mounting bracket must be. Then fab something up using the old brace as a model.

    ok so the 302 aod trans seats few inches to far forward my stock 302 mount want fit lol damn what do i do now

    Just get one of Franks (71gold) mounts, they fit like a glove. I have one on my AOD.
