i have owned a 1970 maverick for about a year and 5 months and i still don't know how to tell if i have a grabber stallion or sprint could some one tell me. how to tell them apart.
If you have a '70, you might have a Grabber, but not a Sprint (1972) or a Stallion (1976). Do a search on 70 Grabbers to get the info you need.
71+ Grabbers will have the number "93" as the 3rd and 4th numbers of the V.I.N. 1972 Sprints will have the "TRIM" code RB. 1976 Stallions, I'm not really sure. Seems a 999 report from Ford would mention the Stallion option. Being a '70, your car is not a Sprint or Stallion. It could be a Grabber. Or it could be just a standard Maverick, with no special trim package.
It's not a Stallion (as mentioned above). If you have the dual "sport" mirrors, a rear spoiler, and the "Grabber" striping, a Grabber color, it's probably a Grabber. Research HERE[/ur] for more info.
