    A friend of mine told me about this forum and I have been lurking for a little while. I am a lifetime Ford/Mercury fan and love just about anything to do with old cars.

    I have been turning wrenches off and on for around 20 years for a living and a while before that with Dad.

    I currently have two projects going (1) a 73 Mercury Comet that we are dropping a 347 into to make full race and a 76 Ford truck that is a one of a kind.

    Looking forward to visiting with everyone and hope to learn a lot.

    Thanks again for all of the warm welcome. After looking at several of the photos on the board here I realize that I need to get a grill from my comet. What is a going price for a grill for a 73 comet. Keep in mind we are making a drag car out of it so it does not have to be perfect if you know what I mean.
