Remember the 77 tank is bigger than your orginal. Its not a jus a simple pull an plugg. I have a 71 comet. Ive never seen a tank sold for the early models. I jus pulled my old one, cleaned an recoated it, bending up new lines today. I would not lean toward a fuel cell if it was me, but depends on whether its more of a street car or a drag. The 77 will hang a little lower an will show from behind the car if used, and if you already have exhaust on the car they may be in the way, an need longer bolts or straps to make it fit.

Lets say you do a search for "comet"

    search1.png

All the threads with "comet" in them are returned by the search. Posting a link to the "search id" URL wont work once the cached search expires.

    search2_original.png

If you want to post a link to the first thread, click on the link and then copy the link to your message. The "highlight=comet" at the end of the url is ok and the link will always work and the word "comet" will be highlighted.

If you have any more questions, please let me know
