    Both will do the job but the yellow has more cold cranking amps and more expense:)

    I have 2 reds, and am more than happy. I don't really worry about cold cranking amps since I don't drive my Mav's in the winter. :)

    I use a Red Top. Best purchase I've made on my car to date.

    In fact, I just accidentally left the lights on for 2 hours thinking I would be in and out of my friends house a lot faster than I was. Car fired right up!

    I let my red sit for a year, and then it died. I took it back to O'Reilly and they gave me a new one.

    Keep a trickle charger on it if you don't drive it often. You can't just recharge the Optimas like any other dead battery. The way they are made, they don't send a signal to the charger to recharge, without hooking up another non-optima battery in line with them and the charger. Confusing, yes, but Cliff's Notes version is keep a trickle charger on them if you aren't driving at least once a month.

    But if you drive it regularly, no problems at all!

    Good investment.

    Thank you all! All comments were very useful! The only bad news is:
    here an Optima costs at least $ 500 :eek3:..

    :clap::clap: Thank you friends!:clap::clap:
