look at this rear spoiler

    Hi, I was looking for a maverick or comet that we could use and came acrosse this car. It is a 72 comet. that is a prity high spoiler though. Never seen one that high before. who do you think made it?

    I would say it is a one off custom job.

    I like the height....but it is a little wide on the quarter extensions to me.

    I almost want to bet that is started with the rear fender caps and trunk from a 71-73 Mustang, and he pulled molds off of that, and cobbled this together. Especially with that line that runs through the middle of that rear face.

    I have wanted to see a taller rear spoiler for our cars.

    Think this one went a step too far ...

    Probably the mid-point between Grabber spoiler and what this ended up being could be interesting, and definitely snug the sides in a bit.

    EDIT ... going to go out on a limb here... I looked at it some and think that if this car was Pro Streeted and was running some huge Mickeys out back, that spoiler might actually look closer to being right. It makes the tires and the giant single exhaust out of place.

    Kinda looks like what I did to mine. My end caps isnt as rounded.

    I think it's the end caps that make it look screwy. If they were thinner, the extra height might be OK. Kinda reminds me of a 67-69 Camaro center section.
