I'm not sure how I missed this the first couple times through my new Mustangs and Modified Fords but it looks like someone has finally seen the light! Fat Man Fabrications has introduced a bolt on strut kit designed for MAVERICKS!!!! Sorry if this has been posted, I looked but did not see anything but that's not to say I didn't miss it.

FInally a new front suspension even I can put in without cutting and welding. A future mod for sure if I ever have a grand to blow.

This looks like it solves a lot of issues ... especially for motor swaps.

Minimal shock towers if you want... no more strut rods ....I have always hated the way that crossmember hangs down and clutters up all these cars from that era ... Mustangs and Torinos, too.

I would want a demo ride in a car outfitted with this before committing, but it has to handle better than our 40 year old stuff almost by default.

I image that you really want the upper point braced up really well. It would be interesting what they have to show for that.

Hey ... look at this page ... drop spindles!

    http://www.fatmanfab.com/mustang.php

Also, check out the tubular front frame ... not for Mavs, but it probably can't be that far off if you want to get that far into this. They might be able to do one for someone with just a few tweaks. Take a clean Mav that has been hit in the front ... hack it off ... graft this on ... most of the way to g-machine ...

Half way down this page you will see the strut IFS conversion with pricing. Its older but should give you an idea on what is required. You'll have to source and modify your own parts to save money over a MII kit.

Does that single A-frame look strong enough without a strut rod?
