So this 72ish mav with a v8 showed up. What should I get off of it? I got the speedo cluster and throttle cable already. The motor is still in it or I'd have the mounts. It's a 4-dr with a bench seat. I don't know if it's an LDO.

    Thx!

You should get the trans crossmember (two humps for exhaust), the belly bar (extra bar that extends across under the oil pan ... added to reinforce V8 cars) ... it has large bolts on it...7/8" ... keep them ... they have a special taper made for the bar.

If the yard has an A Frame hoist, trans crossmember and frame stands aren't hard to get ... just be very aware of what you are doing, and take your time. You'll have about 800 lbs hanging there.

Get the belly bar first, then trans crossmember ... if you are lucky, everything is still in balance, and you can just push up on the trans and get it out. The last one I got, I had to wrap the chain around the bell and hoist the back of the motor up, the car was set badly in the yard.

The radiator shroud would be good to get if still usable.

The little bumper filler pieces that extend down from the rear quarters ... the extensions are 4 door pieces, but the fillers work with early bumpers.
Uncracked dash pads are hard to get.
    Lower dash tray if good
Radio bezel (possibly stock radio if more than just AM, too)
Sports mirrors (if it has them)
    Rear window defroster if equipped.
