    As the originater of the term "thrashing" I felt obligated to post. I have been Thrashing and basically got the Stallion ready and done this morning. Been a rough bout with the high temps. Load the trailer on Sunday and see all in Dearborn on Tuesday. Safe travels.

    After painting the new voltage regulator, I installed my voltage regulator sticker, then installed it on the car. It doesn't work. :( I think all my prying on the cover screwed it up. So I go on-line and order a new voltage regulator sticker, then I am off to NAPA to get anther voltage regulator. Website said they closed at 5:00. I get there at 4:45 and the door says they closed at 4:00. Closed all day Sunday. :(

    So now I have to go in Monday, hope they have one in stock. Buy it, bring it home, sand, primer, then paint the lid blue. Then I have to hope my decal comes in before I leave Wednesday.

    Still thrashing.......

    I couldn't get that cover off. I removed the rivits, but it was glued on or something. I pryed like crazy in it. Probably poked the screwdriver too far inside it.

    I guess they're doing them different than they use to. I used to take them off all the time years ago. Maybe they're gluing them to try to seal the moisture out?

    If Craig gets it together he is going to think he can jack up the price a couple thousand dollars. That is not helping me out. It goes both ways and the way my luck has been.............. I am going to miss you at the Roundup, I hope we make one together again soon.
