It is totally different adapting a car that is already a manual to a 5 speed T5. THose that dont have a clutch pedal already need to figure out a way to get one in there. And with how much Maverick manual clutch pedals are it is cheaper to just get an aftermarket pedal when you get the master cylinder. Also the stock manual pedal dosnt work with power disc brakes.

So anything protruding into the firewall wont work.

How do you do the cable clutch setup?

So you added the maverick clutch pedal then made the mods?

And yes all the manual trans cars are manual brake. they didnt make a power brake pedal assembly with a clutch pedal. sucks but they just didnt do it.

I didn't know that, learned something new. And yes I bought a set of peddles from a later model and just pulled the brake/clutch peddle out and replaced the original brake peddle in my car. I didn't use the housing because the design is a little different and doesn't fit the dash(I have a 69).

Well, there is a local guy selling everything from flywheel to driveshaft for 700$ including shifter, pedal, fox body crossmember and everything related. Cable, etc...

Might be the way to go!

4.11 ring and pionion with a 25.7" tire, and .68 overdrive is 2558rpm at 70mph PERFECT!

That is exactly where I want to be, plus with the 4.11 and locker this thing will be crazy fun on the street!

I have a 86 rotating assembly with new cast pistons.

My old motor was also a 86 so I have been using those flexplates.

I think 87+ should be balanced the same right?

Actually its even more then that, the newer diaphram clutches are metric and wont work with the old 302 flywheels that came with the ford 3 finger clutches. You have to get a specific conversion clutch if you are going to use a T5 clutch and bellhousing on a 302.

Yes and the flywheel for an 87 is the correct one for the T5
