hello guy's,finally get a chance to post something, still trying to figure out how to participate in this forum, any way today i inspected front brakes, lately i had noticed a hard pull when braking, pulled front wheels w/drums of '70 maverick, left front wheel cylinder leaking and brake shoes are wet w/brake fluid,i will replace the wheel cylinder asap, gone are the days of repair kits for these cylinders, also noticed pulsation when braking, left front drum beyond specs,it will have to wait, this car is project still, but very drivable, would like to post some pictures of my cars, also have a '75 4-door,it's beyond restoration, mainly a parts car, need to know off hand if windshield of '75 4-dr will fit '70 2-dr,will try to participate more often,i can't even figure out facebook, barely got into that,thanks,dosalazar60.

Hmm that compressor says "Motorcraft" on it. Didn't know they used them on Chevys. That's a Granada (or Monarch) A/C bracket and compressor I believe. Know someone else that had one on his Maverick until a few years ago. I think he did mention that type of compressor was used on GM vehicles. Is it an A-6?

First maverick I saw for a split second I thought it was a mustang fastback... I myself being a "youngster" never saw mavericks/comets on the road growing up. Although I have seen thousands of mustangs. I am wondering how many other cars I never saw before... considering every single one I see a a good guys is just another I have seen... makes me wonder :yup:

I drove by mine and verified it was still where I left it and how I left it. Another month and it can come home! As soon as we get the keys to the house I'll move in the bare necessities and then go straight to painting the garage floor. After that the rest of the stuff including the Mav can come home from storage!
