Found rear end with disc brakes at swap meet on sunday

    IMHO, that's way too much money for a rear that runs a tall gear, doesn't list a posi, and cannot be internally inspected before purchase.

    Unless you like gambling and the pleasant surprise of having to spend more cash after tearing things apart.

    Plus, any one who cannot be bothered to take the time to clean and paint something when it's disassembled?.. is usually the corner cutter type builder. Which adds even worse odds to that bet.

    you can pikc up a rear end from the junk yard for like $75-$100 then have it put together in a shop for that much I would say.

    Im going to the junkyard this weekend..They have a fresh 1974 Mav that just arrived :)
