Needing a machine shop

    Im getting ready to start building the engine for my maverick here soon, im looking for someone around here, some what locally, that is really good and specializes in ford engines and is good with block work since this is going to be a 347... any help would be highly appreciated, thanks in advanced

    Had to Google your location, pretty close to Gainesville, seems there should be one there, if you were closer to me I would recommend Mullins Machine Shop, best there is around here.

    Yeah, iv'e heard of Rollins Automotive (which is right around Gainesville) but ive heard a bit of bad new about them, and im kind of werrie about them

    Thing is, if someone is not happy with work done by others, everyone hears about it, but how much do you not hear about when folks are happy with the work, it tends to be like that, word of mouth travels fast if it's bad, I am not saying the shop near you is good or bad as I don't have a clue, but with Mullins here I have experience with them and it has always been good, might go by that shop and mention to them you have heard bad things about them, see what their reaction is to it.
